§ Edit the name of the Bluetooth port in

the input field, if desired.

§ Select the “Secure Connection” option

to require input of a PIN for authentica-

tion before a connection can be made

on this port.

§ Click on the [OK] button to confirm

the settings for the selected COM port.

> The “Bluetooth Properties” page closes.

Creating Additional COM Ports

§ Click on the [Add COM port] button.

> Windows automatically installs an

additional virtual COM port for the

application. The name of the COM port

is assigned automatically (in this exam-

ple, COM5). The “Bluetooth Properties”

page opens.
